Free Blog Mastermind Lesson
Blog Mastermind December 4th, 2007
Some of you may have noticed my affiliate link to the Blog Mastermind program in the sidebar before, however since we all tend to be a little ad blind these days I thought I’d tell you a little about the program and why I am pleased to be a member.
I started Ugly Mailbox as a hobby without any intentions about blogging or making money blogging. Using Blogger was just the easiest way I found to post pictures of maiboxes. I’ve since switched to WordPress (one of many great recommendations from the BMM program) and become completely immersed in the blogging phenomenon.
Honestly, I still don’t have very high expectations in terms of monetization for this blog, but it’s my test bed for some of the things I plan to implement on a more “serious” blog in the near future. I’m one of the original members of Blog Mastermind. I joined the second week that Yaro Stark launched the program and am currently a moderator for the BMM forums. Since joining the program I’ve been very impressed with the quality of information given in the e-lessons and the helpfulness of the mentors and community.
I’ve never “plugged” the program before on this blog because I view Ugly Mailbox as a creative outlet which I wish to keep personal and not commercial. That may seem a weird statement, but I’m sure many of my fellow bloggers get it.
The reason I’m posting today is because as of December 10th, the program will be closed to new members. I know that the majority of my readers are bloggers and I wanted to give you a chance to see what the program is all about by sharing a sample lesson and giving you the opportunity to join before Yaro closes the doors to new members in six days.
Lesson 11 is all about how to build traffic to your blog and you can get it here: Lesson 11: Marketing Through Conversations
I have also included two articles by Yaro on my articles page: 10 Blog Traffic Tips and Reporter vs Expert – Why Most Bloggers Are Stuck Reporting
If you have any questions for me about the program, I would be happy to answer them. You can reach me at lindaf@uglymailbox.com
Now, back to ugly mailboxes…
