Ya think we’re into Motorcycles from lookin @ our mailbox? The mailbox was drawn & painted by Us & the Indian Bike on post was our grandaughters Lil Indian which bit the dust so we revamped it to use on top of the post…Not hard to give directions to OUR HOG PEN

These rows of mailboxes are fairly common in rural areas but what struck me about this picture is second redheaded stepchild of a mailbox. Not only is it completely rust covered, but it seems to have a “Hello My Name Is” sticker on it rather than vinyl numbers. It’s as if whoever owns it has said f’ keeping up with the Joneses.

The latest Witles’ creation and coincidentally I’m posting it a week before I go on my own European vacation!

This is an example of “secure” mail service. I got this beauty on a night photo raid because I felt “safer” taking this shot under cover of darkness. This is shotgun country and anyone paranoid enough to use a safe for the base of their mail box probably doesn’t want anyone taking a picture of it either. I am hooked on ugly mailboxes:)

I can certainly relate to being in “shotgun country” and I appreciate your stealth photo shoot!
