This is an example of “secure” mail service. I got this beauty on a night photo raid because I felt “safer” taking this shot under cover of darkness. This is shotgun country and anyone paranoid enough to use a safe for the base of their mail box probably doesn’t want anyone taking a picture of it either. I am hooked on ugly mailboxes:)
I can certainly relate to being in “shotgun country” and I appreciate your stealth photo shoot!

I might be wrong about this object holding up this mail box. I had a coworker tell me that they think its a metal fireplace. I guess he has a “hotmail “account:) Thats what you get for uglymail box night ops.

You have an awesome collection of ugly mailboxes..i loved this site more than any other in a while..it’s quite humorous…
