Ugly Mailbox September 4th, 2007
I post pictures of any unusual mailbox, not just ugly ones. Some are cute. Some are wacky but not unattractive.
But I love the hideous ones. The ones that make me think “WTF” and lock up the breaks and scramble to dig my camera out of my purse.
This one did for sure.
I guess they couldn’t fit the mailbox in the trashbag.

That’s not rust, it’s “patina”.

It looks like it’s spent some time at the bottom of the ocean. Is that a barnacle??

I’m not sure what look they were going for? “patina and barnacles” works.
Notice that they painted the house number with spray paint, while the numbers were on, without using masking tape or plastic or anything to keep the paint off the concrete/rock/barnacle?
