When my kids were teens they never did that, or at least no one ever told me if they did...however the self proclaimed "leaders of our community" (you know who they are,the ones who think they are so much better than the rest of us!)and several of their friends sons were caught and arrested for doing damage to lots of mailboxes...in another neighborhood of course! So see it seems to be something that is passed on from one generation to the next. Hmmm, wonder if they are somehow relatives?! Anyhow, I bet they only "took down" the "normal" mailboxes, LOL Every generation has it’s mailbox smashers for some reason.
