I like to build an interesting mailbox–a giant one–to attract postmen. My mails are always getting lost. Maybe, if my mailbox was something unforgettable, these mailmen wouldn’t get confused with house numbers…
Think of it as Mailbox Art There’s a lot of creativity and work put into mailboxes like this, and if it makes the postal worker chuckle every day, well… that’s a good thing!

That looks terrible. Why would anyone want a mailbox like that? The mailmen probably laugh when they drive up every day.

I haven’t been around my area lately to take any new pictures, but people from all over send in pictures of mailboxes they find.
This particular one is made by Ed Witles, and if you do a site search you’ll see all of the amazing mailboxes he’s made.
