Earlier this month I shared a story with you about a man in Glen Burnie, MD who was known for the elaborate mailboxes he made.

So I pleaded with my old friends in MD to get me a picture of the King Kong mailbox that was mentioned in the newspaper article and I was sent this instead!

Headless Horseman mailbox

Headless Horseman mailbox

According to the article he changes his mailboxes, so King Kong is gone in favor of a more fitting one for the holidays.

Thanks Gremmy and Poppy for sending these pictures.

Happy Halloween!

I don’t think I’d want that in my front yard, but it sure is cool.

Just wanted you to know I wrote about you on one of my blogs. I left the link to the post.

Keep up the good work. I’ll keep an eye out for interesting one’s here.

    I want one!!

Do you have a mailbox? Is it amazingly normal or amazingly elaborate?

My mailbox is really boring and needs to be cleaned… still. I posted a picture of it in June

I’m just trying to figure out… where does the mail go, actually? I mean, it’s fabulous of course, but… functional?
