he should have made it out of a bumper, so that when he backs into it with his car there’s no problems
I must admit I was thinking of a different type of muffler when I saw the post title.
I like the other use for old car parts I have seen–in a house my parents had, a car’s drive shaft was in the cellar holding up the ceiling.

I searched for weird mailbozes this holiday but still no luck!

pollardito - unless it’s one of those new bumpers they put on minivans. Those things don’t withstand .5 mph crash tests.
Lis - you expected a mailbox wrapped in a scarf?
Tim - Reduce, Reuse, Recycle!
Forest - Happy New Year to you too. Aren’t you in canada? don’t they have mailboxes that look like moose, beer or bacon?
