The Terrell Texas Daily Photo blog features photographs taken by Brian, an amateur photographer that lives in… Terrell, Texas of course. Today he posted this wagon wheel mailbox. Check it out along with his other photos. I think you’ll enjoy.

Haha, this seems the coolest to me so far.
Don’t tell me that the wagon wheel also spins? That would be really crazy!
I’m still amazed but what can some people think about!
This world is really funny if you know where to look!

it’s like a lazy-susan for mail, put a bunch in one box and spin to the next.

this seems like it’s just bait for the mailbox baseball players though, they’re going to want to see how many times they can make it spin around per swing

It’s nice, but the onw with a fish shape is far better.

lol- in a way it is a good idea for multiple mailboxes. Just found you through EntreCard- and boy do I wish I had a digital camera because I could find you some u-g-l-y mailboxes. I live in West Virginia- it’s a requirement here.

Johnny - according to his original blog post, it does indeed seem to be functional.

pollardito - they could only make it more tempting by painting baseballs on the sides.

Jonathan - you’re in luck, fish mailboxes seem to be popular in south florida, I’m sure I’ll be posting more

Beth - if you have a regular camera you can send photos to me, I’ll scan them in! just drop me an e-mail and I’ll give you and address to send them to. I always need new material.

Angelika - Thanks! It’s ok if I didn’t win anything, I’m used to prizeless “contests” from http://www.gorillasushi.com/

The photo looks like a real world example of web mail folders. The mail can be sorted for you, by the mail carrier, so that you can have a spam/junk mail box separate from your “inbox.” :)
