Well, that’s one way to avoid junk mail – let the vines completely overgrow the mailbox door.

It’s like Harvard or Princeton in mailbox form!

It would be cool if the mailbox eventually rusted away and only the plant was left behind.

omg i am highly offended! that is what my mailbox looks like. wth… it is beautiful. it is a work of art. LIVING ART. i cannot believe this mailbox made uglymailbox.com… all these years have my neighbors really thought my mailbox to be ugly? do my neighbors tell me that i am giving my yard a great haircut when i am out there with the hedge clippers, trimming around the mailbox- but SECRETLY they are peeking out behind their curtains scoffing at my mailbox? No… I never thought the likes of my mailbox would be posted on this site. I don’t think I can continue to frequent uglymailbox.com anymore.

eh, I hope you’re not really offended ;) Every mailbox I post I don’t consider “ugly”. Some are cute, fun, or just unusual.

see forest doesn’t think the chia mailbox is ugly! CHA CHA CHA CHIA! oh man, i should get out the camera and go uglymailbox hunting. there used to be one on my street that was a regular mailbox encased in a miniature house that was a replica of the house it was in front of hahaha. new homeowners moved in and replaced it unfortunately. when i was a kid i always wanted the mailbox for a barbie house.
