From the gentleman that brought us the Headless Horseman and Taj Mahal mailbox:
I bet that light in the front really works too. I think this is my favorite so far.
Thanks again Gremmy.

i like the lighthouse, water well, and 2 reindeer in the lawn. they barely have room for trees and grass with all those pieces of flair.
one of my friends’ parents had a lawn toy fetish like this, it added about 30 minutes onto the lawn mowing job with all the time spent rotating them from parts that needed mowing to parts that were done. he always referred to his lawn as wonderland because of all the gnomes and ducks and deer

“lawn toy fetish” You make yard art sound so dirty!

That is great, I wonder if it delivers mail to you if you go on holiday or move house?

Just wait ’till you see what he has now…
That happens to be my dad. He wants me to start posting his ‘best of’ from the past 4 or so years.
The Empire Bldg came about b/c I asked him for something different. He’s made cars/trucks/boats/bungalows but no towers. While hoping for a nice art deco, he ended up w/ a nice sky scraper. It was a mailbox for a spell but it’s real job is to be home for 20 or so birds in my back yard.
Dad fussed early on but now - he has the US Capitol and now working on the Annapolis State House.
His Dr said the Taj looked JUST LIKE the real thing - she should know… she is from India.

That’s great, I’m glad you found the blog and once you get his “best of” posted, please share it with us.

you could combine the Empire State Building mailbox, the helicopter mailbox and a stuffed gorilla to create a full scene

pollardito - Only you would think of that!
